On Monday, May 14, 2018, we hosted students participating in the international PLANCKS 2018 event. This is a competition of physics students in solving of theoretical assignments that took place in Croatia this year.
Physical students from Austria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Singapore, Spain, Switzerland, United Kingdom and Ireland visited our Institute. Director dr.sc. Marko Kralj gave a welcome speech, presented the Institute’s scientific activity and ongoing key infrastructure projects.
After that, students in the groups visited the Institute’s laboratories according to the pre-selected program. Eight laboratories that opened their doors participated in the program and presented their work to physics students.
The PLANCKS event was organized by the Student Society of the Croatian Physical Society (SSHFD) in cooperation with the World Physics Association of Physics (IAPS). Read more about the event at the link:
